HAPPY NEW YEAR from Skinnyfat Farms!!!

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year! Looking back on 2023....it was definitely a rough one for some. We, lost Daisy, Galaxy's triplets were born early causing Spyder to be the only kid to survive, and personally we and had some health and wellness issues of our own to deal with, especially towards the end of 2023

With that being said, many great things also happened in 2023....I hatched ducks for the first time....including a special duckling "Rocky" who turned out to be a girl now called Roxy. The 2023 kidding season brought  several healthy bucklings and doelings. In the Spring geese were introduced to to the farm for the very first time. Now, the geese (Sonny  & Cher) have turned out to be one of the best things to see walking around and exploring the pastures. One of our new farm cats, Howl, surprised us with having 6 tiny kittens too!

I am very much looking forward to 2024....Kids  are due a little later in early April and mid May. Jewel is confirmed to be carrying triplets again this year! Fingers crossed for more does this season....Cher has begun laying eggs and I would be so thrilled to see her hatch a few goselings!

And...Of course the soapery is busy getting ready for the next season of Valentine's and Spring celebrations. Although, I do love making Christmassy soaps, I love all the colors and fresh scents of our Spring soaps.
