Baby Goats Are Coming!!!

The 2021 kidding countdown has begun... in about two weeks we should be knee deep in kids!!! We are clearing out the brush, putting up the kidding pens, and getting the "Kid Kam" ready!! We will have live feeds of our kidding pens so everyone can join in the kid watch! Our five beautiful and BIG girls are due starting March 14th. 

What I have learned from supervising the kidding process for the past several years is that goats are pretty on time with their gestation of about 150 days. They are also predictable in the fact they usually kid in late morning or afternoon (versus in the middle of the night) and they loving and protective mamas. These beautiful creatures never cease to amaze me and I feel privileged to take part in raising them in turn help them raise their young.
